I will contact the Oregon Natural Heritage Program and request they search their database for
previous sightings of rare plant species in the vicinity of the projects.
Task 2. Field Research
I will conduct the field work necessary to determine whether wetlands exist at the two sites.
I will conduct a site visit to characterize the plant and wildlife habitat along the projects and in the
nearby vicinity, in order to establish the potential for rare species presence. I will map the
potential habitats on aerial photos.
Task 3. Documentation Development
All office and field data will be compiled and presented in the reporting formats required by the
reviewing and regulatory agency staff. Wetland Determination Reports of Findings will be
quickly developed and presented concisely and clearly. Required graphic information will be
included in the document where appropriate and in the Appendices. The reports will be provided
to you for draft review. Should jurisdictional areas be found, I will coordinate with you as to the
next reasonable steps to be taken.
I will develop a Habitat Characterization and will assess the likelihood that rare plants will be
present in the vicinity. I will also assess the potential for rare species to be impacted by your
project, comparing the likely habitat areas against your proposal for the stream enhancement
project.
Task 4. Client and Agency Coordination
As the documents are reviewed and processed, I will be available to participate in discussions
regarding the justifications for the findings. Should jurisdictional areas be determined to be not
present, the wetlands work will be complete. Should rare plant species be determined to be not
likely present, the rare species work will be complete.
Any further work will be conducted under a later contract.
Fees
I propose to complete the services outlined above on an hourly basis, and I anticipate that certain
expenses will be incurred for mileage during site visits, act for report production. The following
is my estimate of hours and costs required for the projects.
Owosso Bikepath Culvert Installation
Task 1.
