Sequential Rare Plant Surveys (8 visits x 3.hrs ea.) 24 hrs
Task 3. Documentation Development $5100
Development of Wetland Delineation Report of Findings 20 hrs
Development of Habitat Characterization Report 10 hrs
Rare Plant Survey Report 10 hrs
Preparation of Joust Permit Application 20 hrs
Task 4. Client and Agency Coordination During Review 10 hrs $ 850
Anticipated Eapenses (mileage, documentation reproduction) 250
Total: $9940
Fees and expenses will be billed montbly on an hourly basis according to the rates and terms
specified in the Professional Services Contract: my billing rate is $85 / hr, mileage will be billed
at $0.36 /mile; and other expenses will be billed at cost. Only hours actually spent on this project
will be billed, and some savings may be found if actual costs differ from the above estimates as
the project. Progresses.
Please keep in mind, Steve, that the above proposal represents a scenario that requires all tasks
be conducted: wetlands are found; habitat for care species is determined to be present, thereby
requiring sequential surveys; and the project results in unavoidable impacts to wetland resources.
However, it may also be possible that wetlands may be not present within the project area; rare
habitat may not be present, and sequential plant surveys are therefore not necessary; and the
project may be able to avoid impacts to jurisdictional resources. The cost will be substantially
lower than the above estimate.
Timeline
I am prepared to commence services within 7 days following receipt of the signed proposal. I am
committed to ensuring that the work progresses successfully and at a schedule which meets your
needs and those of the regulatory agencies. The rare placrt surveys will begin immediately, in
order to retain their full defensibility. The Office Research will be completed within two weeks.
The wetland field work and habitat characterization will be conducted over the next two weeks.
The Wetland Report and Habitat Characterization will be ready for your review within 6 weeks;
the Rare Plant Survey Report will be ready for your review in September. The Joint Permit
Application will be ready for your review in 10 weeks.
It is hoped that this estimate meets with your needs and expectations. If so, please sign the area
provided below, keep a copy for your files and return the original to me.
Thank you again, Steve, for the opportunity to assist you with this project. I look forward to
working with youl
Sincerely,
Michael W.
