The Board, the Secretary of State's ~ffice of the Sta~e <br />of Oregon and their duly au~horized represen~a~ives shall have access ta the books, <br />dacuments, papers and reco~~.s of Crran~ee ~hat are d~rec~ly related ~o this Agreemen~, the <br />gran~ moneys provided hereunder, ar the projec~ for the purpose of making audits and <br />examina~ions. Zn addx~ion, the Board, ~he Secretary of State's Office of ~he Sta~e of Oregon <br />and ~he~r dul~ au~horized representatives may make and retain excerp~s, copies and <br />transcrip~ions of ~he foregoing books, documen~s, pa~ers and records. Grantee sha~~ perm~t <br />au~horized represen~atives af the Board, the Secre~ary af State's ~ffice of the S~ate of <br />~regan and ~heir duly authorized represen~a~ives to perform s~te reviews of a~l services <br />delivered as part of the p~oj ect. <br />2. Retent~on of Records, Gran~ee shall retain and keep acces~tble al~ books, da~uments, <br />papers, and ~ecords ~ha~ are d~rec~ly related ~o this Agreement, ~he gran~ moneys or the <br />project for a minimum of ~hree ~3} years, or such longer per~ad as may be required by other <br />prov~s~ons of th~s Agreern.en~ or appl~cab~e law, following ~ermination ar expi~a~ion af this <br />Agreement. If ~here are unresolved audi~ questions at the end af the three-year pe~iod, <br />Grantee shal~ reta~n the ~ecords un~~l the ques~~ons are resolved. <br />3. Expend~ture Records. Gran~ee shall document the expenditure of a~~ g~ant mor~eys <br />d~sbursed by ~he Boaxd under this Agreemen~. Grantee ~ha~l crea~e and maintain al~ <br />expenditure records ~n accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in <br />suff cient detail to permi~ the Board t~ verify how ~he grant moneys were expende~, <br />including wi~hou~ I~mitatian accaunting fo~ al~ other funds expended, a~ we~i as in-kind <br />serv~ces and dona~ed ma~erials. <br />F.
