Contractor is engaged in the business of artistic creation. <br /> B. City desires to engage Contractor to provide the services described in this agreement <br /> and Contractor is willing to provide such services on the terms and conditions set forth <br /> herein. <br /> C. The following are attached and incorporated as a part of this contract: <br /> Exhibit - A -City of Eugene Standard Contract Provisions <br /> Exhibit - B -Approved designs and layout <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> 1. Services to be Provided. <br /> 1.1 Contractor agrees to provide to City the following services ("the Work"), per his <br /> selection by the Public Art for Parks Selection Committee on May 15, 2001 fora 60' wood <br /> Zig-Zag Bridge with four sculptural elements made of wood and metal (the Work), per <br /> attached drawings. <br /> 1.2 Contractor and City are responsible for the following services: <br /> 1.2a Contractor shall provide a conceptual design for the Work. The City or <br /> a professional engineer will provide an engineering design based on the <br /> Contractor's work which will be in accordance with engineering and loading <br /> requirements. Ail designs will be reviewed and approved by City and a <br /> professional engineer. <br /> 1.2b Contractor will be responsible for providing schematic drawings for the <br /> Work. <br /> 1.Zc Contractor shall determine the artistic expression, design, color, size, <br /> material and texture of the Work, subject to review and acceptance by City as <br /> set forth in this Agreement. The location for installation shall be determined by <br /> City, with approval requested from Contractor. <br /> 1.2d Contractor.shall provide the four sculptural elements made of wood <br /> and metal, per attached drawings. <br /> Personal Services Contract - 1 <br /> <br />
