Work Products
CH2M HILL shall provide the City a noise study technical report up to 30 pages in length,
including graphics and appendices.
Assumptions
• CH2M HILL shall identify the properties for which noise measurements will need to be
taken at outdoor activity areas. The City shall contact property owners and obtain
permission for CH2M HILL staff to conduct noise measurements on the property.
• Up to 3 noise monitoring locations will be included in the noise survey to show existing
noise levels in the project vicinity.
• Noise levels will be monitored for a period of 20 minutes at each monitoring location. Noise
Measurements will be repeated only in those cases where a specific aberration in noise
conditions is identified during the monitoring. Field work would be completed in a single
one-day trip.
• Up to 6 receiver locations will be identified as noise prediction sites to represent full
coverage of the study area.
• City shall provide the CAD files needed for producing graphics and for calculating the
number of impacted receptors, also showing area roads and current and future elevations.
• City shall provide profiles, grades, elevations, toe of slope, right of way lines, other
engineering data needed to model the noise impacts.
• City will provide maps identifying any receptors that will be purchased as part of the
project and figures/base maps suitable for documenting land use and zoning in the project
area.
• City shall provide necessary existing, future build and future no build traffic data including
peak hour volume, speed and vehicle mix (autos, medium trucks, heavy trucks and buses)
on area roads and I-5 to be used in the FHWA Traffic Noise Model to predict traffic noise
exposure.
• The scope assumes CH2M HILL will not be attending any meetings associated with the
noise component of this project.
Budget
CH2M HILL proposes to complete this work on a lump sum basis, with a task fee of $13,350 for
the scope described above.
