The evaluation of groundwater <br /> control will be made based on geotechnical properties of the soil at the site and <br /> groundwater elevation and Willamette River stage data. The analyses and design effort does <br /> not include development of a design or construction documents for a dewatering system or <br /> groundwater control systems. <br /> 7.4.3 Prepare Geotechnical Report <br /> A geotechnical recommendations report will be prepared and submitted to the City and <br /> used in any design decision in preparation of final design. The report will include the data <br /> report provided by others groundwater elevation data; and the results of geotechnical <br /> analyses and geotechnical recommendations. <br /> Deliverables: Three copies of the final geotechnical report. <br /> 7.4.4 Geotechnical Support During Final Design <br /> Geotechnical support during the final design phase of the work will include collaboration <br /> with structural engineers for development of vault expansion foundation and wall design. <br /> Additionally, geotechnical support will be provided for the development of special <br /> provisions to the technical specifications for earthwork, control of water, and excavation <br /> support and protection. It is assumed that special provisions will be developed for the 2002 <br /> version of the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction published by the Oregon <br /> Department of Transportation and American Public Works Association, Oregon Chapter. <br /> Task 7.5100% Submittal <br /> Revisions to the 90% submittal will be incorporated based on comments from City staff <br /> received in a timely manner. Final construction plan documents and final special <br /> provisions will be submitted to the City. This scope of work does not include standard <br /> provisions or front-end contract documents. It is assumed that the City will compile the bid <br /> package, advertise for bids, and manage the bid review and selection process. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 100% SubmittaL• <br /> Plans -11x17 pdf file uploaded to CH2M HILL ftp site. <br /> Final Special Provisions -pdf file uploaded to CH2M HILL ftp site. <br /> Final Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate -pdf file uploaded to CH2M HILL ftp site. <br /> Budget <br /> Labor and expense rates used in preparing the budget estimate are those included in <br /> Contract # 2005-00208. This amendment increases the not-to-exceed fee for services by <br /> $51,500.
