Broadway <br /> Eugene, OR 97401 <br /> RE: Fee Proposal for Pedestrian Crossing <br /> and Sidewalk Improvements <br /> Dear Teny: <br /> Ford & Associates is pleased to offer this proposal to provide design services to the City of <br /> Eugene for improvements along Franklin Boulevard, including a new crosswalk, refuge <br /> island and access ramps at Alder Street. This project also includes sidewalk and driveway <br /> improvements extending west along the north side of Franklin Blvd. towards Hilyard <br /> Street. <br /> This letter provides a scope of work and fee for completion of plans and technical <br /> specifications to be inserted into contract documents developed separately by the City of <br /> Eugene. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Our team will be comprised of Ron Derrick, PE, and myself. Ron will be the stamping <br /> Professional Engineer on this project and will be closely involved in its design and <br /> coordination. As project manager, my duties will include coordinating with the City of <br /> Eugene and the Oregon Department of Transportation as well as producing the plans, <br /> technical specifications and record drawings. The plans and specifications will be in <br /> conformance with ODOT Standard Specifications and the Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian <br /> Plan. <br /> This project is segmented into three options for the purpose of allowing the City of <br /> Eugene to determine which portions of the project can be built within the City's budget. <br /> The three options are listed below: <br /> ~ Option One services include: <br /> ¦ Design for pedestrian `refuge island', a painted crosswalk, signage, and ADA <br /> access ramps located along the north side of Franklin Blvd, as well as each <br /> corner of Alder Street. <br /> P.O.
