<br /> R I V E R P L A Y WORK P L A N <br /> 10.0 VISIONING WORKSHOP <br /> City staff will prepare a newspaper ad display, press release and flyer to <br /> announce the public workshop. <br /> <br /> MIG and City staff will tour the Skinner Butte and Alton Baker sites. MIG <br /> will note on-site conditions and opportunities and constraints, verify <br /> collected data, and identify opportunities for improvements to better meet <br /> community needs. <br /> MIG will facilitate a 3-hour design charrette with stiff, project partners <br /> and community members, including planning, programming and mainte- <br /> nance staff and representatives from Native American, natural resource <br /> and historical interests. Beginning with a discussion of a vision for the site, <br /> participants will explore opportunities and constraints and design altema- <br /> fives. <br /> Product: Preliminary design plans, sketches and a workshop report <br /> 11.0 STAFF PRESENTATION <br /> MIG will present the preliminary draft concept plan, developed based on <br /> the results of the visioning workshop, to project staff far feedback. <br /> Product: Agendas, comments on Preliminary Draft Concept Plan <br /> 14.0 SPEAKERS 6UREAU 11 <br /> Project partners will make targeted presentations to community organiza- <br /> lions to publicize the project and obtain donations using a powerpoint <br /> presentation and questionnaire prepared by the City. MIG will review <br /> these materials. <br /> CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT <br /> 15.0 PRELIMINARY DRAFT CONCEPT PLAN <br /> Based on the results of the visioning workshop, MIG will prepare prelimi- <br /> nary plans for each regional play area (hand drawn) that illustrate play area <br /> options. The drawings will be sketch-quality, diagrammatic plans based on <br /> on-site work efforts that synthesize the charrette discussion. <br /> Product: 2 Play Area Concept Plans for each play area (2 sheets) <br /> RiverPlay Work Plan I PA2aE 3 <br /> <br />
