Ptopos4llor Wetl4nd De[ehninatioitlD~elin~ation jor City o~EuRene: Amazon Headwaters Frail Eugene, OR
either agency daes ;not agree with the findings, and additional site visits and report addenda are
requircd.
2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES
The following data will be reviewed and summarized for the Delineation:
• National ~Vetlan 1~vento~y ac: Determine if'the subject property or portions of
the property Ore withim identif
ed wetland areas.
• U S ~ S Qua ¢le: Characterize local topography and drainage patterns.
• Lan County Soil S~rvevs: Determine the sails that are rn$pped on the subject
property and whether they are clatissified as hydric (developed under saturated
conditions) or non-hydric in the Lane County Hydric Soil List.
Deternninarion of the existence of wetlands will be based upon the guidelines ~ the 1987 US
Army Corps Wetland Delineation Manual for sites less than five acres in size. This procedure
requires the establishment of sample plots across the project area in order to document changes in
elevation, soil, sari plant cattumunities. 'the information froth the survey plots is used to
determine the location of all wctlapd/upland boundaries, by using paired plots where a wetland
boundary is to be determined. VegetatioQ,, soils, and hydrology wiU be characterized for each
plot; the vegetation wiU be identified amd the coverage calculated by species, a soil profile will be
described, and the hydrology chasitcte>~stics will be evaluated.
All wetland/upland boundaries will be flagged otr the ground. Any wetland boundary locations
grad sample plots will be mapped on the topo map provided by the City, Insets at a larger scale
(likely 1 inch = 10 feet) will be Located vn the trail map, and drawn. by hand based on field
measurements.
A Wetland Detettanination or Delineation Report will be completed which summarizes the results
of the field investigation. This report should satisfy the DSL and Corps requirements for the
Glean Water ,A.ct, and will include the foflowittg:
• Discussion of meThods and techniques
• Site rasp depicting the wetlazid/upland boundary and location of sample plots
• USGS Quadrangle map with site clearly defined
• Lane County Soil Survey riu<p with the site clearly defined
• National Wetl~d Inventory Map with the site clearly defined
• Field data sheets (US Army Corps of Engineers' format for a three, parameter
application) for each sample plot
3.0 LIMTTATTOhIS TO TEE SCOPE
The following items are not included within the scope of work for this project:
• Survey costs
• Preparation of Joint Permit Application, Mitigation and Monitoring Plans
• Preparation of otb~er investigations, documents, reports, or presentations which may be
required by local or other agencies during the course ofthe proje~_
4.0 FEE
The estimated fee for preparation of the wetland delineation and report is presented in detail
below, with anot-to-exceed cost o£S2600.00. The fee is based on field assistance from Philip

J~rly 7003 ~ Page 2
