ODOT sent us
the money in advance. The bids came in lower than anticipated. The agreement with ODOT is that we
can use any or all of the monies, as long as it relates to Bridge repair. Engineering identified additional
work that qualifies for the funding and issued two change orders. The first change order placed the
contract at 114.82%, the second one has placed the contract at 139.07%. The work on the second
change order is estimated at 34% completion. The change order was signed by the city and contractor in
good faith.
Contract 2005-00015 Contech Services Inc $265,500.00
Change order no 1 $39,356.75
Change order no 2 $66,385.00 (estimated at 34% completion)
How do you want us to proceed?
Thanks,
Peggy Hamlin
Financial Analyst
Public Works Administration
682 5834
-----Original Message-----
From: HAMLIN Peggy D
Sent: Wednesday, June 29, 2005 11:55 AM
To: SCHOENING Mark A; KLOPE Paul W
Cc: RAPP Cathy; WILLER Jenifer M; PETERSON Tish A
Subject: GJN 4193 FSB Repairs
Hi,
7/8/2005
