Education and Outreach <br /> Task 27 -Work with Stream Team volunteers , <br /> Through the Stream Team Coordinator the SLP coordinator will invite a limited number of Stream <br /> Team volunteers to attend trainings by ODFW and other wildlife professionals. These volunteers <br /> will then be eligible to participate in the monitoring of fish, birds, amphibians, and turtles at Delta <br /> ponds. Once dates, times, and desired number of volunteers needed for monitoring each species are <br /> set by the SLP program, the ST coordinator will be notified and she will communicate with both the <br /> volunteers and the SLP program regarding the availability of ST volunteers. <br /> Schedule: October 2004 -July 2005 <br /> Product: Trained volunteers <br /> Task 28 -Create. educational posters <br /> The SLP team will produce up to four educational posters in electronic format about the history of <br /> Delta Ponds, Western Pond Turtles (biology, threats to species, where to see them at Delta Ponds), <br /> and two other topics to be determined. The <br /> website will contain information about the history of Delta Ponds, flora and fauna of Delta Ponds, <br /> and the goals of the restoration project.
