The agreed lump sum price to be paid for ~ <br /> this contract is $344,610. <br /> Approximate quantities to complete the work include, but are not limited to: <br /> Cold plane pavement removal 2-inches to 2.5-inches deep 19584 sgyds <br /> Level 3, %2" Dense HMAC 2720 tons <br /> Surface Stabilization 31 cuyds <br /> Loop Detectors 10 each <br /> Minor Adjustment of Manholes 20 each <br /> (ADD) Notice to Proceed shall be issued not more than ten (10) calendar days prior to <br /> beginning of work identified in approved Contractor's schedule. <br /> 00180.50 Contract Time to Complete Work <br /> (c) Beginning of Contract Time <br /> (ADD) Work shall be completed by October 10, 2006. <br /> 00180.85 Failure to Complete on Time: Liquidated Damages <br /> (b) Liquidated Damages <br /> (ADD) When cold planed surfaces within the traveled way are not paved within the time <br /> period after cold plane operations identified in these Special Provisions, <br /> Subsection 00220.40(f), "Cold Plane, Pavement Removal, and Paving <br /> Operations", liquidated damages, in the amount of $750.00, shall be assessed <br /> for each calendar day in excess of the specified time period. Liquidated <br /> damages assessed for failure to pave cold planed surfaces within the traveled <br /> way after cold planing within the specified time period shall be in addition to <br /> liquidated damages assessed for failure to complete the contract on time. <br /> Liquidated damages in the amount of $750.00 per calendar day will be assessed <br /> for each calendar day beyond the completion date that the work is not complete. <br /> In addition, liquidated damages in the amount of $750.00 per calendar day will be <br /> assessed for each calendar day beyond the timeframe limitations for construction <br /> operations as defined in subsection 00180.40, "Limitation of Operations", of <br /> these Special Provisions. <br /> 00220.02 Public Safety and Convenience <br /> (ADD) Lane closures on Franklin Boulevard shall be per LTD EMX contract plans and <br /> permits as approved by ODOT and the City of Eugene.
