a-, <br /> o° ~ <br /> Q <br /> (ADD) Storm water and wastewater work, cold plane pavement removal, surface <br /> stabilization, and concrete paving and asphalt base paving on Agate Street from <br /> E. 13~' Avenue to the north side of E. 19~' Avenue shall be completed between <br /> July 9, 2007 and August 10, 2007. <br /> (ADD) The closure of the intersection of Agate St. and E. 19"' Avenue, as shown on the <br /> traffic control plans, shall be for no more than seven (7) consecutive'Calendar ~ <br /> days. <br /> 00180.41 Project Work Schedules <br /> (ADD) Contractor shall provide copies of the weekly work schedule to representatives of <br /> the University of Oregon, as designated by the Engineer. <br /> (ADD) Furnishing and installing street trees is not included in this Contract but shall be <br /> accommodated in the project schedule. The project schedule shall clearly <br /> indicate a one weekend (Saturday/ Sunday) window for street tree planting which <br /> will be completed by volunteers. This work shall be accommodated after <br /> completion of soil preparation and finish grading but prior to planting of shrubs <br /> and mulching work. <br /> 00180.50 Contract Time to Complete Work <br /> (c) Beginning of Contract Time <br /> (ADD) <br /> ?!l " <br /> . e <br /> 00180.85 Failure to Complete on Time: Liquidated Damages <br /> (b) Liquidated Damages <br /> (ADD) When cold planed surfaces within the traveled way are not paved within the time <br /> <br /> ' period after cold plane operations identified in the Standard Specifications in <br /> Subsection 00620.43, "Maintenance Under Traffic", or these Special Provisions, <br /> liquidated damages, in the amount of $500.00, shall be assessed for each <br /> Calendar day in excess of the specked time period. Liquidated damages <br /> assessed for failure to pave cold planed surtaces within the traveled way after <br /> cold planing within the specified time period shall be in addition to liquidated <br /> damages assessed for failure to complete the contract on time. <br /> Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day will be assessed <br /> for each calendar day beyond the completion date that the work is not complete <br /> .In addition, liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per Calendar day will <br /> be assessed for each Calendar day beyond the timeframe limitations for <br /> construction operations as defined in subsection 00180.40, "Limitation of <br /> Operations°, of these Special Provisions. <br /> Liquidated damages are calculated separately and are additive. <br /> Special Provisions -Job #'s 4341, 4422, 4442 Page 2 <br /> <br />
