It is understood that the study area comprises the right-of-way of an ~ <br />approximate 2 3/-mile strefch on Roosevelt Blvd. be#ween the Chambers Connector and Beltline <br />Highway. The following scope of work and #ee are based on our wnderstanding of current site <br />condi~ions and usage. <br />PROJECT APPROACH: <br />~"he purpose of the Environmental Site Assessment is to identify recognized environmental conditions <br />wtiich may present a pntential for the presence of hazardous materials to be present within the study <br />area that may require further investigation and or remediation. ~ ` <br />The scope of work for this project wilt follow the Initial Site Assessment guidelines set forth in the <br />Hazardous Waste Guide for Project Development document produced by the American Association of <br />State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), 1990. The assessment will include a review of <br />applicable environmental databases, a review of read,ily available records to document the past and <br />current uses of the subject property and adjo'rning properties, interviews with persons with knowledge of <br />the site, a site reconnaissance and a final report summarizing our findings and conclusions. <br />In addition to the 1990 AASHTO guidance, this scope of work will generally follow ASTM Standard <br />E1527=05 Standard Practice for Environm~ntal Site Assessments: Phase ! Environmental Site <br />Assessment Process. <br />
