Phase: planning/design
Following two public workshops held last winter,a concept plan has been prepared for this 3.5-acre
undeveloped park site in the Santa Clara area. Located at the corner of Irvington and Arrowhead, the park
is bordered by Flat Creek and is dominated by an open meadow area. Proposed improvements include a
children's playground,park benches,picnic tables and trash receptacles,a drinking fountain,hard-surface
pathways,a soft-surface path through the park,an irrigated field for non-programmed play and sports, and
many new trees. A picnic shelter, also part of the concept plan, may be included as a volunteer project
