Administer the contract for construction of the planned recreation facilities at the Amazon Creek <br /> Wetlands Section 1135 Project. Recreation facilities to be constructed by the city using Section <br /> 1135 funding are summarized below. All facilities will be constructed in accordance with the <br /> detailed plans and specifications previously prepared by the Corps and provided to the City. <br /> Estimated costs for the separable facilities were derived from the Corps' Baseline cost estimate for <br /> the project and include contingencies(September 2000). <br /> a. Greenhill Road Overlook. An overlook adjacent to Greenhill Road with covered <br /> viewing area structures, interpretive displays,parking, sanitary facilities and <br /> landscaping. <br /> Estimated Cost: $245,900 <br /> b. Greenhill Multiple Purpose Path. Approximately 2,200 linear feet of paved multi-use <br /> path along the relocated levee adjacent to Greenhill Road connecting the overlook <br /> site to the Fern Ridge Bike Path. <br /> Estimated Cost: $267,200 <br /> c. Terry Street Multiple Purpose Path. Approximately 1,500 linear feet of paved multi- <br /> use path along the relocated levee connecting providing access across the project area <br /> from Terry Street on the east side of the project to the Fern Ridge Bike Path. <br /> Estimated Cost: $224,800 <br /> d. Royal Avenue Multiple Use Path. Approximately 400 linear feet of paved multiple <br /> use path from an access point along Royal Avenue adjacent to the Amazon Channel <br /> to the Fern Ridge Bike Path. <br /> Estimated Cost: $52,900 <br /> e. Royal Avenue Parking Lot. A small parking lot and access point off of Royal <br /> Avenue with interpretive displays. <br /> Estimated Cost: $69,700 <br /> f. Mobilization and demobilization.
