•
Draft Draft Draft
stormwater development standards. She asked Policy Team members if they wanted to proceed
with outreach and adoption of the standards.
Mr. Medlin commented that the Management Team had prepared a good package, but he felt that
the question could not be answered until the impact of Council action on the overall program was
known. He suggested tabling the discussion until after Council decisions.
Mr. Schoening noted that portions of the program were already in the budget and would go
through the prioritization process. He said once policy direction was received from the Council
the Policy Team could make a decision.
Mr. Ruffier said he was prepared to accept the staff recommendation on ordinance modification.
Mr. Corey said he supported the staff recommendation on ordinance modification, but expressed
concern with the low profile of the development standards and felt the Council should be made
aware of it in advance.
Mr. Lankston clarified that Mr. Corey recommended including the entire program in the in the
prioritization process, not just the two FTEs. Ms. Walch commented that there were no
incremental maintenance costs in the projected budgets.
Mr. Corey noted that the twenty-year projection of sites also represented new revenue.
The Policy Team concurred with Ms. Walch's summary that they had agreed to staff
recommendations to accept the ordinance modification, the proposed inspection/enforcement
program, and the financial implications, and the issue of outreach and adoption would be
revisited following Council decisions in July.
4.
