NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Manager is authorized <br /> to take all reasonably necessary steps and execute all appropriate <br /> documents to acquire the Wayne Morse Ranch on bhlf of the <br /> epCityc <br /> of Eugene, which property is to be held in perpetuity <br /> historical and recreational facility. The Manager is specifically <br /> authorized to take all steps reaaycrs behalf andthe <br /> expendabove <br /> described funds and to accept giftsonthe City <br /> City funds not to exceed $15, 600 for the acquisition. <br /> IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is to not conclude <br /> acquisition of the property if the City' s direct cost for acquisition <br /> will exceed the sum of $15,600 as above described. <br /> IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the intention of the Common <br /> Council of the City of Eugene to as ao any <br /> other <br /> historicalcandt erecreational <br /> to acquire the Wayne Morse Ranch public <br /> facility so long as the direct City costs of acquisition do not exceed <br /> the sum of $15, 600.00. <br /> The foregoing Resolution adopted the 14th day of July, 1976. <br /> /s/ S.
