Pro1r.ar Narrative
Page 2410e
of $26,100.00.
The appraiser reviewer indicated that the percentage figure used, would be a
reliable and acceptable approach in determining .the partial value as outlined
in the funding analysis.
A three-year interim use of the proposed acquisition is intended. Proposed
interim uses of the subject would be using the meadows for animal pasture, the
wooded areas for nature study and passive recreation, the grounds around the
buildings for public use, such as meetings and picnics. The barn would be used
as is. The garage used for storage and the dwelling •for public activities.
6. The plan to acquire this parcel was initiated and promoted by local interested
citizens and groups, which are listed in sec-tion 9 , of the Environmental Assess-
ment report. All have expressed and shared their interest in the acquisition of
this property by their support and involvement in the project.
The City of Eugene is the principal agency involved in the proposed acquisition, and
will be the principal agent in the maintenance, operation, management, and future
development of the project.
7. There is no other work planned, anticipated or under way using federal funds at
this site. Also, no previous BOR projects on the site.
8. -A partial donation is anticipated at the present time. This donation is the dif-
ference between the purchase price and appraised review value, in the amount of
$27,000. This donation will be offered by the Nature Conservancy to the City of
Eugene.
• w
