JENNINGS Carrie A
From: JENNINGS Carrie A
To: ANDERSEN Chris F
Subject: Washington/Jefferson Shrub Pruning
Date: Thursday, September 14, 1995 4:28PM
FROM: Bob Hammitt
Dick tells me that staff has began pruning the mounds on both the north and south side of the railroad
tracks. Dee has contacted Don Purdue from the Lane County Sheriffs office about his crew doing this as a
project. Bob was supposed to get back to Dee to let him know when he could get his crew into help us.
They said they could help us sometime within the next two to three weeks. I have asked Dick to initiate a
call back to Bob, and inform them that this is a priority and we would like to have their assistance next
week with the extensive shrubbery pruning project.
I will also try to get a hold of Tom Brett and sort out exactly which groups he has had contact with in the
Whiteaker neighborhood. I will then send an e-mail to Shawn letting him know that we have begun the
pruning and that we anticipate doing more extensive pruning in the next week or so. I will also let him
know which groups the Police Department has contact with.
Hope this answers your questions. If not, please give me a call. I will likely be difficult to get a hold of the
next couple of days. The best way to reach me will probably be through my cellular phone, 954-0920. It
is my understanding that local cell phone service is currently down. If you get an unavailable message, try
accessing the phone by dialing 1-503-954-0920. We get a long distance charge for this type of call,
however, cellular phones can be accessed this way.
L.
YIZ
ji
rtY'
1
Page 1
