FAIRMOUNT NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION <br /> Eugene, Oregon 97403 <br /> February 12, 1996 <br /> City of Eugene <br /> Attn: Dick Morgan <br /> Parks Superintendent <br /> 1820 Roosevelt Blvd. <br /> Eugene, OR 97402 <br /> Dear Mr. Morgan: <br /> At the regularly held meeting of the City of Eugene Fairmount <br /> Neighborhood Association on January 29, 1996, a Motion was made <br /> that the Association' s Washburn Park Betterment Fund be turned <br /> over to you and the Parks and Recreation Department to help fund <br /> improvements at that park. <br /> As a result of that decision, I am enclosing with this letter a <br /> cashier' s check in the amount of $104. 58, payable to the City of <br /> Eugene on behalf of the Fairmount Neighborhood Association, to be <br /> used as additional funds for the replanting and improvements to <br /> Washburn Park that are planned for there this year. <br /> It is my understanding that the currently scheduled improvements <br /> to Washburn Park include a new irrigation system and the pruning, <br /> restoration, removal, and replacement of trees and other <br /> vegetation which have died or been damaged in the park.
