The schools are located at 950 <br /> West 22nd Avenue. The work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is scheduled to <br /> end at <br /> ':00 p.m. "1111 l■, <br /> "" Ir <br /> The playkit is the second phase of a neighborhood matching grant. Last <br /> fall, volunteers built a covered structure to provide protection from the rain <br /> and sun and a good location for community picnics and other gatherings. <br /> The project is a collaborative effort between the school site council, the ��� <br /> Friendly Area Neighborhood Association, 4J School District, and the City. <br /> Slayden & Slayden Construction, Eugene Sand and Gravel, S & M Rock& <br /> Loam, K& K Concrete Pumping, and Rainbow Playground Equipment Phase One:Covered structure <br /> donated materials or expertise to the project. The project's total value is over <br /> $25,000, with a little more than half of that from the neighborhood matching grant. <br /> For more information on the Neighborhood Matching Grants program, please contact Beth Bridges in Planning and <br /> Development Department at 682-5272 or via e-mail, beth.b.bridges@ci.eugene.or.us. <br /> Nodal Development Information Workshops Scheduled for Thursday, June 19 <br /> The Transportation and Growth Management Program, a joint program of the Department of Land Conservation and <br /> Development and Oregon Department of Transportation, is coordinating two workshops on nodal development, both <br /> scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2003, at the Bascom/Tykeson rooms of the Eugene Library. <br /> The first workshop, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., is directed to the development industry; the second workshop, from 6:00— <br /> 8:00 p.m. is directed to the general public.
