The lecture will be held on <br /> Monday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Tykeson Room at the Eugene Public Library. <br /> Schat, who recently completed her master's thesis on bio-control of purple loosestrife at Oregon State University, will <br /> identify common invasive plants, give strategies for controlling these plants, and discuss why it is important to control <br /> invasive plants.
