cir Community Presentations <br /> Eugene Celebration: Staff was on hand at the Eugene Celebration to talk to Eugene residents and visitors <br /> about parks,recreation,and open space,and to get input on how Eugene is doing and where the <br /> community should go in the future. Over 400 residents and hundreds of visitors completed a brief <br /> questionnaire and visited the informational displays. <br /> ORPA Conference:The annual conference of the Oregon Recreation and Parks Association(ORPA)was <br /> held in Eugene this past October. City staff in the Parks&Open Space and Recreation Divisions <br /> conducted and participated in a number of trainings and presentations,including sessions on dog parks, <br /> Volunteers in Parks,maintenance-friendly park design,the Hendricks Park Forest Management Plan,and <br /> Ridgeline Trail acquisition.
