Airspeed tailored the design of the <br /> skatepark to reflect input gathered from a public meeting Skyview Park playground features innovative equipment <br /> attended by many Bethel area youth in June. The bid closes August 16, and construction is scheduled to <br /> be completed by the end of October. The launch has been long anticipated by the local boating community as a <br /> replacement for the informal boat launch on the Willamette River that was closed in 1996. The new facility will include a <br /> concrete boat ramp and access road, parking for 12 boat trailers, lighting, landscaping, and irrigation.
