The event will begin at <br /> the parking lot at 24th and Amazon. <br /> Volunteers will rake bark on the running trail. Volunteers in Parks Coordinator <br /> Chris Girard asks volunteers to bring a rake and a pair of work gloves and wear sturdy <br /> shoes or boots. A limited number of rakes will be available at the event. <br /> "This has truly been a community effort," says Girard. "Thanks to all the <br /> sponsors for making this event possible and a special thanks to Lane Forest Products <br /> for donating 33 units of bark." <br /> All volunteers will receive free New Country 93 or Magic 94 T-shirts, Super <br /> Natural potting soil from Lane Forest Products and pizza. <br /> For more information or to sign up, call 682-4845. <br /> # # # <br />
