\EUGENE° Public Works
Maintenance
1820 Roosevelt Boulevard
Eugene, Oregon 97402
(503) 687 -5220
June 22, 1994
Mr. Alan Hollenbeck
RJN Group, Inc.
200 West Front St
Wheaton, IL 60187
Dear Mr. Hollenbeck:
This letter is to accompany the proposed contract between the City of Eugene and RJN for RJN to
provide the City with a Tree Inventory Management System (TIMS). The contract has been
adapted from the earlier contract between the City and RJN for the Wastewater Collection
Information System (WCIS) purchased two years ago.
The bulk of the contract is unchanged from the WCIS contract, with the exception of the appropri-
ate dates, system descriptions, timelines, and costs. Sections which have changed substantially
include the Scope of Work and Project Costs (Exhibits E and F), and of course the RFP, System
Proposal, and correspondence incorporated into the contract.
Please review the accompanying contract and retum it with any comments or questions you may
have. For reasons relating to the City's budgeting process, we would like to complete and
execute this contract by the end of June. If there are factors which would delay this beyond that
date, please contact me as soon as possible at (503)687 -5491 or Fred McVey at (503)687 -5240.
We are looking forward to the successful completion of this new facet of our ongoing business
relationship.
Sincerely,
I
Robert C. (Bob) Blanchard
Information Systems Specialist, TIMS Project Manager
cc: Fred McVey, TIMS Contract Manager
Johnny Medlin
Gail Murray
Adrian Stansfield
enclosures
