Exhibit E (Cont.) <br /> 3. In addition to the 40 hours of software modifications included in the proposal, the City <br /> at its option may request additional program modifications to be furnished by RJN, up to a <br /> total of 40 additional hours at the proposed rate of $65 /hour as outlined in item 5 of the <br /> "Cost Proposal Notes" in Appendix C of RJN's proposal. <br /> 4. As part of the "Instrument Interface" section of the proposal, RJN will furnish a suitable <br /> handheld or laptop computer capable of being used to enter tree inventory data in the field, <br /> all programming necessary to allow the efficient entry of such inventory data, and all <br /> programming and interface hardware to allow uploading the inventory data into the Cass - <br /> works Tree Inventory Management System. All such equipment and services will be <br /> included in the lump sum cost of $2,000 specified in the proposal, as detailed in the letter <br /> from Wes Graf of RJN, dated June 13, 1994. <br /> 5. RJN will provide a total of eight days of on -site services for software installation, <br /> testing, initial database administration functions, and training, as outlined in the "Imple- <br /> mentation Plan and Approach" section and in the "Cost Proposal Notes" in Appendix C of <br /> RJN's proposal. This will include training on the use of the handheld or laptop computer <br /> and any associated software provided by RJN for the purpose of gathering and uploading <br /> inventory data. A training course format will be developed and mutually agreed upon by <br /> RJN and the City. <br /> 6. RJN commits to developing a Windows version of its Tree Inventory module and related <br /> work order processing and reporting functions, to be completed and delivered in a fully <br /> functional state to the City of Eugene within a period of time not to exceed four (4) <br /> months from the date of the execution of this contract. Pricing for this version will be <br /> consistent with RJN's policy for upgrading other Cassworks infrastructure management <br /> modules to the Windows platform, but shall in no event exceed ten percent (10 %) of the <br /> original application software costs specified in item 1 of Appendix C - Cost Proposal Notes <br /> of RJN's proposal. <br /> -E2- <br />
