October 30, 1995 <br /> TREE ISSUES <br /> 1. A permit is not required: <br /> a) Residential below 20,000 s.f. with an existing dwelling unit or an approved <br /> permit for the construction of a dwelling unit. <br /> b) Any property greater than or equal to 20,000 s.f. requesting to remove 5 <br /> or Tess trees in any 12 month period. <br /> c) PUDs <br /> d) Public Improvements in street right -of -ways and in public utility <br /> easements. <br /> 2. A permit is required in: <br /> a) All non - residential properties less than 20,000 need a permit for any tree <br /> removal. <br /> b) All properties greater than or equal to 20,000 s.f. requesting removal of <br /> more than five threes to be removed in each 12 month period without a <br /> permit. <br /> 4. Public notice to abutting property owners within 200 feet of the site is required for <br /> ALL tree permit applications where more than 10 trees are requested to be <br /> felled. <br /> Where this may not be happening: <br /> a) Residential building construction on parcels greater than or equal to <br /> 20,000 s.f. requesting to remove more than 10 trees and are not located <br /> in a PUD. <br /> b) Commercial building construction <br /> c) Industrial construction <br /> 3. Possible Gaps where permit is required <br /> 1 <br />
