Preventative maintenance.
Fleet Service provides a preventative maintenance (PM) program for all City
vehicles and equipment. PM frequencies are based on: manufacturers
recommended levels, vendor warranty requirements and State and Federal
regulations. In addition, specific operational considerations and equipment usage
are used to determine the appropriate level of preventative maintenance.
15. Leave vehicles at jobs or build /fence area at parks where we could leave them.
This discussion can take place at the operation work team level. Currently the
Maintenance division has a storage area that it located at Civic Stadium that can be
used for this purpose.
16.
