6.465 Eugene Code 6.515 <br />hearing on the appeal according to procedures to be established by the MWMC <br />pursuant to paragraph 12 of the Intergovernmental Agreement. The MWMC shall <br />submit a copy of its findings and recommendations regarding the appeal to the <br />city council within 10 days after the hearing. The city council may hold a <br />hearing on the recommendations and, in any event, shall take action on the <br />recommendations within 20 days after their filing. <br />(Section 6.465 added by Ordinance No. 19130, enacted April 13, 1983.) <br />6.470 Damage to Facilities /Correction of Violations Any person who <br />violates sections 6.400 to 6.470 of this code or a condition of a <br />wastewater discharge permit, as a result of which the city performs or causes <br />to be performed preventive or corrective work or which results in damage to <br />the city sewerage system shall be liable to the city for such damage and the <br />cost of such corrective work, additional treatment and for any penalties, <br />including withholding of any grant money, levied against the city for <br />violation of state or federal permits resulting from said violation. The city <br />may collect such charges in the manner provided in this code for the <br />collection of sewer user charges, in accordance with any other provisions of <br />this code, or in any other manner provided by law. <br />(Section 6.470 added by Ordinance No. 19130, enacted April 13, 1983.) <br />Miscellaneous <br />6.500 Junk and Used Vehicle Accumulations <br />(1) Except in an I -3 Heavy Industrial District no person shall <br />store or permit to be stored used building supplies, scrap, junk, used <br />furniture, used plumbing supplies or fixtures, used electrical supplies, <br />fixtures or appliances in any manner as to expose it to view from a street <br />or sidewalk adjoining the premises for a period of more than 30 days. <br />(2) No person shall store or permit to be stored a used motor <br />vehicle or portion thereof without a license plate or with an expired <br />license plate on any private or public property unless the vehicle is placed <br />so as not to be exposed to view from a street or sidewalk adjoining the <br />premises or unless it is stored on the premises of a business enterprise <br />dealing in used vehicles lawfully conducted within the city. <br />6.505 Littering No person shall throw or deposit or cause to be <br />thrown or deposited any glass, metal, broken ware, dirt, timber, <br />brush, rubbish, garbage, filth, or litter on public or private property <br />except in such places as may be designated by the council. <br />6.510 Prohibited Deposits in Millrace No person shall put into the <br />millrace in the city any filth, manure, sewage, deleterious or <br />refuse matter of any kind. <br />6.515 Obnoxious Vegetation - Definitions, Prohibitions, Ab atement. <br />(1) As used in sections 6.515 to 6.527, the term "obnoxious <br />vegetation" does not include an agricultural crop, unless that crop is a <br />health hazard or a fire or traffic hazard within the meaning of subsection <br />(2) of this section. <br />(2) As used in sections 6.515 to 6.527, the term "obnoxious <br />vegetation" includes: <br />6 -25 12/27/83 <br />
