M M & ff V <br />ADDITIONAL RESOURCE NEEDS <br />1. A larger turf mower is needed to replace one of the smaller turf mowers at <br />the airport. The 5 gang mower at the WWTP needs to be evaluated to <br />determine if it would meet this need. If it does, no replacement would be <br />needed. If it doesn't we would need to invest an estimated $20,000 for <br />replacement regardless of whether we consolidate. <br />2. An electric cart is needed to transport tools, plants, trimmings, etc. at <br />the airport. This will be a $5,000 need regardless of whether or not we <br />consolidate. <br />3. If we consolidated we would need a one -ton flatbed for the vegetation crew <br />at an estimated cost of $20,000. This would probably not be necessary if <br />we didn't consolidate, left PARCS with the same responsibilities they now <br />have, and didn't take on the Chambers Connector. <br />4. I believe we could take on all the PARCS responsibilities listed on the <br />summary page by transferring one PARCS position to Publics Works, and not <br />add any more positions by consolidating. This would mean we utilized the <br />vacant supervisor position at the WWTP so the rest of that program would <br />have to go under another supervisor. If this was not workable we would <br />need another supervisor position. <br />
