• <br />MFM UNDUM <br />February 23, 1988 <br />TO: Ev Hall, Chief, Public Safety Department <br />FROM: Bob Hammitt, PW Maintenance Superintendence <br />SUBJ: MOWING <br />Per your request via the attached October 25, 1983 memo, the Public Works <br />Department has been mowing the properties located at 28th Avenue and Polk <br />Street, and Coburg Road and Elysium Street. <br />Recently, administration of the City's vegetation program was transferred <br />from the Engineering Division to the Maintenance Division. In reviewing <br />the program, we find we have been mowing the two lots, but not charging <br />the Fire Department's account code. Being the nice folks we are, please <br />consider the oversight a summertime Christmas gift. Beginning this summer <br />(1988), we will begin charging you the contractor cost plus the indirect <br />rate which will be approximately $33.00 per hour. The rate we charge <br />property owners is $75.00 per hour. The total bill for the summer for two <br />mowing cycles should be less than $150.00.
