•
EUGENE SCHOOL DISTRICT 4J
Multi- Purpose Athletic Field Concept Study - Predevelopment Meeting age 5
January 8, 1999
Drinking fountains are code required
1000 seats = 2 drinking fountains (one high & one low)
2000 seats = 2 drinking fountains (one high & one low)
Site Utilities - Special questions
Storm Water
❑ For the proposed development at North Eugene High School
please clarify the existence, location, and size of the existing
storm drain system in Escalante, north of Silver Lane, and
provide clarification if there is capacity in this system to add a
connection from the new fields.
Any collected storm water will be diverted to existing storm drainage
systems at the Kennedy /Churchill and South Eugene sites.
Any collected storm water will be diverted to new dry wells at the Sheldon
and North sites.
❑ Is this an acceptable method of treating storm water at each site?
Systems Development Charges
❑ Systems Development Charges and how they apply to this project
needs to be clarified.
Transportation - Proposed activities at the new fields for the football
teams will replace existing use at Autzen Stadium on Friday evenings
during football season, not create a new use or increased demand on
existing transportation services.
No additional parking capacity is planned at any of the sites.
In all cases field seating capacities are less than current gymnasium
seating and the schools would avoid simultaneous scheduling of events at
both facilities.
o We propose that the Transportation SDC charge be $0.00 for
these projects. Is this acceptable?
