05/21/2006 10 :26 FAX 541 682 5414 CITY MGRS OFFICE 0001
February 27, 2006
Dear Mayor Kitty Piercy,
I live in an established neighborhood who's park has been neglected for far too long.
Bond Park, located off Bond lane near Norkenzie and Cal Young Roads, I thought would've
been fixed up with the 1998 Parks and Open Spaces bond or other park funding bonds in the last
couple of years, but it hasn't I know the city has been funding new parks and fixing up other
parks, but I'm not sure why this park has been Left to rot for so long.
Bond Park is older and is need of exceptional repair. The play structural has been torn
down years ago because of it being a safety hazard and hasn't been replaced. The picnic tables
are in bad shape and the lighting is poor, which promotes visitors after park hours doing
unfavorably activities_ I have noticed some positive changes in the last couple years which
include the installation of new swings, but still toke around six months to replace the swings
they torn down and a new sprinkler control which I admit does keep the park rather green. I'm
asking you to help fix this park up or at least make others aware of this parks poor condition. I
hope for a future make over of this park which I can see as a positive fix to this neighborhood.
Sincerely,
0, / s y,
'finny Reiter
afG4,1.r
OtitA.& l Afar - pc9G/i0"..„ Au 4es-- )01,hh
A ., 9 1 4 . mak toctaeL be_ .,----
1111111'111
