was made to stay away from the water's edge.
LATE UPDATE: (4:30 PM) Keith Kokkler, the owner of
Elms Landscaping, has contacted me. He was the applicator.
He is state - licensed and a man of considerable experience with
agricultural chemicals. (He worked at the Co -Op before buying
this business.) The materials used were Casaron 50WP and
Garton 3A with a surfactant. I have the rates of application
and Keith is willing to provide us with a copy of his
application record. He maintains that he made a deliberate
effort to stay away from the water. Applied in a low /no wind
condition and at a time wen light rains would "set" the
material rather than washing it off into the river. He was
unaware that the property did not belong to the Boulders. He
has made similar applications for 3 -4 years.
I'd appreciate some direction as to follow -up. Dick
Morgan is out until May 11th. If we are going to contact the
State (Dept. of Ag.) we should do it tomorrow so samples can
be taken bfore the material deteriorates. Any direction?
Page 2
