I believe I put them in the inter-
departmental mail system this Monday the 9th. I was thinking that they were general background information rather
than being needed to be reviewed before public works responded to your request. When Kristi receives them perhaps
she could confirm if that specific fire information would have changed their correspondence to you. My understanding
is that they are aware of the general educational concepts the fire department promotes. I apologize for not sending
the infomation on to Kristi in a more timely way.
Mike McKerrow
From: Hank Wetzel [mailto:rphg @comcast.net]
Sent: Friday, March 13, 2009 9:56 AM
To: MCKERROW Mike J; HAYDEN Kristi M
Cc: SCHMIDT Brenda S
Subject: When were the fire hazard documents sent in the departmental mail system?
Dear Mike and Kristi,
After a conversation with Jackiet Hallet yesterday it is apparent that she was unsure if the fire hazard informational
documents Rich Dahl requested be handed to the departments that were required to enforce city code have not been
sent? Arrived? Been reviewed? by Kristi before the March 9, 2009 correspondence was sent to the Hunter's Glen
PUD Home Owners Association regarding a complaint that was filed back in September of 2008 regarding the
property located at 4989 Hunter's Glen Drive.
Rich Dahl lives directly across the street from the homeowner whom the complaint was made and is a fireman working
for the City of Eugene.
Kristi, Jackie and the gentlemen you went out with on February 27, 2009 to respond to our on -going complaint that the
city had not enforced city code as they said they would in the correspondence dated September 24, 2008.
On March 5, 2009 Mike McKerrow indicated to both of us that he would forward the documents to Kristi. We were fully
prepared to mail them but he said a mail system was set up that allowed him to send them to the other department.
Please confirm as that been done yet, and if, so when were they sent? When did Kristi get them? Have they been
read by Kristi? Jackie Hallet indicated that she had not read the documents.
Thank you,
Hank Wetzel, HOA Board Secretary
Marcy Roberts - Wetzel, ACC Member
Hunter's Glen PUD
3/13/2009
