TRAFFIC CONGESTION ON CENTENNIAL /COUNTRY CLUB ROAD
Any significant traffic congestion in the area will significantly impact the event, city emergency
services, and other drivers. Any incident will have to immediately communicated between the EEH
Organization, the EEH Security Coordinator, and the Eugene Police Department.
The EEH Security Coordinator will contact EEH Parking Staff immediately to notify them. The EEH
Security Coordinator will work with the Eugene Police Department and/or emergency personnel to work around
the situation.
If all of the parking supply is exhausted and traffic congestion is being caused by people attempting to
enter Alton Baker Park to attend the event, then EEH parking staff immediately take the responsibility of
posting pre -made signs at the Coburg/Country Club intersection to notify drivers that the event parking is full,
and an alternate location will be listed, i.e. EWEB, VRC, etc.
CROWD CONTROL
Overcrowding of the Park will first be controlled through traffic, even though walking or biking
will be highly encouraged. Also, spaces between booth rows is set at a minimum of 35' to avoid
overcrowding in those areas. If the audience in front of the main stage starts to build to a size and
fury that could become uncontrollable, EEH and hired security will focus on the area. Also, the
announcements from the stage can be made at the Security Coordinator's discretion.
Lastly, both EEH, and the hired security team will be briefed the morning of the event in Crisis
intervention roles, including fights, violence, and theft. The Eugene P.D. already is trained in this, and
will act both at their own discretion, besides being notified by the Head Security Coordinator.
NOISE COMPLAINTS
The sound system for the main stage will be adjusted during the day to control the sound and
it's impact on the surrounding neighborhood. Additionally, the nature of the musical acts is not
perceived, at this point in time, to be or sound like, a major rock n' roll production.
EPD should notify the Head Security Coordinator immediately of any significant noise
complaints so that the soundboard can be contacted to turn the amplification down to a quieter level.
FIRE OR EXPLOSION /EMERGENCY EVACUATION
Any device, fire, wildfire, incident will be thoroughly communicated ASAP at all levels and
parties listed in the safety plan. Police and /or emergency personnel will be given a priority to respond.
Any need to evacuate will be announced in a similar manner, and on both sound stages.
Fortunately because of the abundance of open spaces in the park, evacuating the area of incident will
be relatively easy compared to a building.
