EMERALD EMPIRE HEMPFEST 2003 AT ALTON BAKE C fG i?
Free One -Day Event: Saturday, to
y, July 19 ,2003
E.E.H. EVENT POLICIES & CONTING '
We, the event organizers, hope to have a fun and successful event for everyone involved. We
also want to keep the park clean, free from damage, and be able to accommodate and allow all of the
different parities involved to have a successful and incident free event. This document lists a security
and medical communication model, sets policies and guidelines, and contingencies that may occur
during the course of the event.
EVENT SAFTEY CHART
EEH STAFF
EEH SECURITY
COORDINATOR COORDINATOR 1 MEDICAL
COORDINATOR
VOLUNTEER
COORDINATOR
EUGENE HIRED SECURITY EEH SECURITY JHPARKING WHITE
' PD
STAFF STAFF BIRD
VENDOR
COORDINATOR CAHOOT'S
CROWD
CONTROL
SPECIFIC POLICIES
Incident Report Filing
Any injury, theft, lost person, lost property, or violent activity will be recorded with an Incident
Report available from the EEH Headquarters. This will include Vendors, Entertainers, Attendees, and
Event Organizers, both during set -up and execution of the event.
Overall crowd control
The event is temporarily fenced in four areas: around the main entrance to serve as a funnel
from people that have arrived by vehicle, the stage area, the beer garden in one of the pavilions, the
bike valet.
If the park and space within the event begins to grow larger than the capacity of it,
announcements will be made from both stages, and EEH Parking Staff will close the park at the North
end of the first large paved parking Tots.
Stage announcers during the course of the event will encourage attendees to adhere to laws
and park regulations on a regular basis. Special needs as they arise will also be forwarded to the
stage announcer from EEH staff and /or security.
Night Rollup
The last amplified music will end promptly at 10 pm, Announcers on both stages will mark the
end of the festival, and notify attendees, that the Park has to be vacated by 11 o'clock by city
