(„50,6/1 v <br /> Based upon the above findings which are a dop , and the findings in Administr ive <br /> Order No. 58- 13 -07, and pursuant to the authority contained in Section 2.019 of the Eugene <br /> Code, 1971, and Administrative Order No. 21- 03 -12, I order that the Rules for Golden Gardens <br /> Park in -water dog training permits are adopted to provide as follows: <br /> Golden Gardens Park In -Water Dog Training Permit Rules <br /> 1. Golden Gardens Park In -Water Dog Training <br /> A. Permit. Unless specifically authorized by the City pursuant to a written agreement, <br /> license, permit or other Administrative Rule, no person may use Golden Gardens Park <br /> for in -water dog training thout first obtaining an In -Water Dog Training Permit. <br /> (i) A request to use Golden Gardens Park for in -water dog training <br /> must be submitted to the Public Works Department (1820 Roosevelt Blvd., <br /> Eugene, OR 97402) by completing an application form provided by the City. All <br /> permit applications must be accompanied by proof of dog licensure and current <br /> rabies vaccination and a signed statement (on a form provided by the City) that <br /> the applicant has read and agrees to the In -Water Dog Training Permit Terms and <br /> Conditions. <br /> (ii) Beginning March 1, the City will start accepting In -Water Dog <br /> Training Permit applications. The City will accept Permit applications for the <br /> current year's training season (April 1 — October 31) until the City has issued 30 <br /> Permits. Once the City has issued 30 Permits, the City will not accept any more <br /> applications for that training season. <br /> (iii) The Executive Director of the Public Works Department or <br /> designee will grant or deny an application for an In -Water Dog Training Permit <br /> ? application within 30 days of the City receiving a complete application. <br /> Decisions will be made in writing. Granted applications will receive a parking <br /> placard allowing for vehicle access to Golden Gardens and a map designating the <br /> areas where parking is allowed. <br /> (iv) The Executive Director or designee may deny an application for an <br /> In -Water Dog Training Permit in accordance with Section 1.004(10) of the Park <br /> and Open Space Rules (Administrative Order No. 58- 13- 01 -F), subsection B, <br /> below and for violating Section 1.050 of the Park and Open Space Rules in <br /> Golden Gardens Park the prior calendar year. <br /> (v) The Executive Director or designee may revoke an In -Water Dog <br /> Training Permit in accordance with Section 1.005(3)(b) of the Park and Open <br /> Space Rules (Administrative Order No. 58- 13 -01 -F) and subsection B, below. <br /> Administrative Order - Page 2 of 4 <br />
