8 <br /> 6. Provide direction to all staff, especially maintenance personnel, that all planning, <br /> maintenance, and construction activities affecting the area and immediate surroundings <br /> of known populations of target species and nearby drainages, will be carried out within <br /> the purpose of this agreement, or held in abeyance until all parties to this agreement <br /> consent, in writing, within 15 days of receipt of written notification. If no comment is <br /> provided within 15 days after receipt of notification, consent is assumed. <br /> 7. Conduct a statistically valid sampling of known populations of rare species at least <br /> every 10 years to estimate population size and monitor trends. <br /> 8. Continue to protect existing rare plant habitat in excellent or good condition, and restore <br /> habitat in fair or poor condition. <br /> 9. Consider and evaluate relocation of existing athletic facilities (i.e., trails and fields) from <br /> suitable L. Lomatium bradshawii habitat to areas not suitable for L. bradshawii. <br /> 10. Limit mowing to the timeframe of July 15 - February 15 in suitable L. bradshawii <br /> habitat. <br /> VII. DURATION OF AGREEMENT <br /> This Conservation Agreement shall remain in effect until L. bradshawii is delisted. The parties <br /> involved will review the Conservation Agreement and its effectiveness every five years, <br /> beginning in the year 2000, to determine whether it should be revised. If some portion of this <br /> Agreement cannot be carried out or if cancellation is desired, the party requesting such action <br /> will notify the other parties within one month of the changed circumstances. <br /> VIII.
