**DRAFT ** <br /> CONSERVATION AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> LOMATIUMBRADSHAWII AND ITS HABITAT <br /> Lomatium bradshawii (Bradshaw's lomatium) is an endangered species and was listed September <br /> 30, 1988, in a final rule published by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service). This <br /> Conservation Agreement (Agreement) between the parties listed below has been initiated to <br /> conserve Bradshaw's lomatium by reducing threats to the species, maintaining habitat, and <br /> providing educational opportunities regarding its conservation. The primary purpose of this <br /> document is to conserve this species (and other rare species, if found) through conservation <br /> measures under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). The secondary purpose <br /> of this document is to allow involved parties (cooperators) to demonstrate their concern and <br /> commitment to preserve the natural heritage of lands owned and managed by the Eugene School <br /> District 4J (Figure 1). <br /> I. SPECIES INVOLVED <br /> Bradshaw's lomatium (desert parsley) Lomatium bradshawii <br /> Other species included in this agreement are those found on Oregon Natural Heritage Program's <br /> (ONHP) "List 1" of rare native species, such as white - topped aster (Aster curtus), Willamette <br /> daisy (Erigeron decumbens var. decumbens), shaggy horkelia (Horkelia congesta ssp. congesta), <br /> Kincaid's lupine (Lupinus sulphurous ssp. kincaidii), and Fender's blue butterfly (Icaricia <br /> icarioides fenderi). Should any of these species be found in areas to be inventoried, this <br /> agreement shall be modified to include them with agreement of the cooperators. <br /> II. INVOLVED PARTIES <br /> A.
