The City is working to improve the signage in Alton Baker Park on many different fronts, including Alton Baker Park wayfinding, Riverbank bike trail wayfinding, interpretation of natural qualities and cultural features, Pre's Trail, and other general information. We are coordinating these signage needs into a series of kiosks that will be constructed at 5 locations in the park. These include: • North side of Knickerbocker bridge • North side of Autzen bridge • South side of Canoe Canal bridge © Autzen stadium • South side of Canoe Canal bridge @ pond in eastern section of park • North side of main parking lot at Pre's Trail trailhead There are additional locations we would like to place kiosks and which we will include if resources allow: • North side of Canoe Canal bridge © Cuthbert • North side of Defazio bridge As part of this effort, we are working to partner with various groups and organizations.
