9. Old Business <br />Mr. Sonnichsen raised the issue of the bylaws, recalling he had mentioned it at a previous <br />meeting but no one had contacted him expressing interest in reviewing and revising the bylaws. <br />He suggested that the issue be left to the new chair. <br />Mr. Sonnichsen asked if the BMX area had been surveyed and demarcations of the BMX <br />leasehold established. Mr. Taylor did not know, saying he would check into it and send an e- <br />mail response to the CPC. Ms. Behm asked if a fence had been discussed. Mr. Taylor said no; <br />he did not think it would be unless the problems continued due to the cost involved. It was one <br />potential solution, but he hoped demarcation and communication with the BMX organization <br />would be sufficient. Ms. Behm recalled that the organization expressed willingness to install a <br />fence. Mr. Taylor said the organization had indicated it was willing to talk about it. <br />10. New Business <br />Mr. Sonnichsen offered to cede his position on the ODOT citizen advisory committee if the new <br />chair wished to assume it. He was very happy to see Ms. Behm serve on the Project Develop- <br />ment Team. Ms. Behm preferred that Mr. Sonnichsen remain on the committee. <br />11. Election of CPC Chair and Vice Chair <br />Ms. Blick nominated Mr. Bonnett for the position of chair. Ms. May seconded the nomination. <br />There being no other nominations, Mr. Sonnichsen closed nominations and called for a vote on <br />Mr. Bonnett's nomination. <br />Mr. Bonnett was elected chair of the CPC with all members votes but his, as he <br />abstained from the vote. <br />Ms. Behm thanked Mr. Sonnichsen for all the work he had done as chair of the CPC. Mr. <br />Bonnett assumed the chair. <br />Mr. Sonnichsen nominated Mr. Ernst for the position of vice chair. Mr. Peara seconded the <br />nomination. <br />There being no other nominations, Mr. Bonnett called for vote on the election of Mr. Ernst. <br />Mr. Ernst was elected vice chair of the CPC on a unanimous vote. <br />Mr. Bonnett said he looked forward to working with Ms. French and Mr. Taylor and invited <br />members to make him aware of issues he was not familiar with.
