EUGENE Public Works <br /> Maintenance <br /> 1820 Roosevelt Boulevard <br /> August 22, 1996 Eugene, Oregon 97402 <br /> (503) 687 -5220 <br /> INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS <br /> The City of Eugene Parks Planning and Development Office, Public Works Maintenance, 1820 <br /> Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, OR 97402, will receive quotations for the installation of an area drain <br /> and storm sewer until (Thursday) September 5, 1996, 11:00 a.m. <br /> Work is located in the alley at the east of Friendly Park, 27th and Monroe Streets, and included, <br /> but is not limited to, installing two manholes, one area drain, approximately 205 feet of PVC <br /> drain pipe, pavement repair, finish grading and seeding. <br /> Schedule: Work shall be completed on or before October 11, 1996. Time of construction shall be <br /> limited to any 14 calendar day period prior to completion date specified. <br /> Quotation Form contains a statement that the contractor agrees to carry out the contract in <br /> compliance with all applicable laws, and that provisions of ORS 279.348 - 279.365, relating to <br /> the prevailing rate of wage for projects in excess of $25,000 and Eugene Code 2.030, relating to <br /> labor conditions, will be complied with by the contractor and all subcontractors. <br /> Quotation Form also contains a statement concerning resident contractor status, as defined by <br /> ORS 279.029. Contractors are not required to be licensed for asbestos abatement. No quotations <br /> shall be received or considered by the City unless the contractor is registered with the <br /> Construction Contractors' Board as required by ORS 671.530. <br /> Contract form will be a City of Eugene Purchase Order. One single payment will be made within <br /> 30 days of completion of the work. <br /> The City may reject any quotation not in compliance with public quotation procedures and <br /> requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all quotations or waive any specifications or <br /> requirements upon a finding by the City that it is in the public interest to do so. <br /> John Etter, Project Coordinator, (687 -5325) <br />
