EUGENE Public Works Maintenance 1820 Roosevelt Boulevard August 22, 1996 Eugene, Oregon 97402 (503) 687 -5220 INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS The City of Eugene Parks Planning and Development Office, Public Works Maintenance, 1820 Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, OR 97402, will receive quotations for the installation of an area drain and storm sewer until (Thursday) September 5, 1996, 11:00 a.m. Work is located in the alley at the east of Friendly Park, 27th and Monroe Streets, and included, but is not limited to, installing two manholes, one area drain, approximately 205 feet of PVC drain pipe, pavement repair, finish grading and seeding. Schedule: Work shall be completed on or before October 11, 1996. Time of construction shall be limited to any 14 calendar day period prior to completion date specified. Quotation Form contains a statement that the contractor agrees to carry out the contract in compliance with all applicable laws, and that provisions of ORS 279.348 - 279.365, relating to the prevailing rate of wage for projects in excess of $25,000 and Eugene Code 2.030, relating to labor conditions, will be complied with by the contractor and all subcontractors. Quotation Form also contains a statement concerning resident contractor status, as defined by ORS 279.029. Contractors are not required to be licensed for asbestos abatement. No quotations shall be received or considered by the City unless the contractor is registered with the Construction Contractors' Board as required by ORS 671.530. Contract form will be a City of Eugene Purchase Order. One single payment will be made within 30 days of completion of the work. The City may reject any quotation not in compliance with public quotation procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all quotations or waive any specifications or requirements upon a finding by the City that it is in the public interest to do so.
