including:
Four neighborhood park sites will be acquired over the next three years through the bond
measure. See map sites SC3, SC4, SC5, SC6.
A fifth park site (SC8) has been targeted to meet the neighborhood park needs of the
neighborhood west of River Road near Ruby. This acquisition will most likely be funded with
SDCs.
The bond measure includes funding for development of Arrowhead Park and additional
development in Awbrey Park.
The City has bond measure funds to purchase property adjacent to the northwest corner of the
Santa Clara study area boundary for use as a community park.
Service Delivery Issues
There are more park sites targeted in Santa Clara than in River Road because there is more
available vacant or under - developed property and the Santa Clara area is considerably
underserved. There is no separate parks district serving the Santa Clara area.
Options for Services Delivery
These are similar to the issues discussed for River Road.
