(2) District shall receive twenty percent (20 %) of the gross concession and <br /> ticket receipts from [non} events not sponsored by City or District[ . All <br /> such revenue will be used for maintenance[, custodial services,] and operation[s] of or <br /> custodial services for the facilities described in section 1 of this Agreement, as mutually <br /> agreed by City and District. <br /> Section 9. Field Names <br /> District reserves the right to name the four [ - ] artificial surface fields after <br /> consultation with City and the User Committee. <br /> Section 10. Sponsorship and Advertising <br /> District reserves the right to determine sponsorships, advertising, and concessions related <br /> to the [multi -use] artificial surface fields after consultation with the User Committee. <br /> Section 11. Special Campus Concerns <br /> 11.1 Campus Security. City and District recognize and support modest and safe use <br /> of [existing] 4J fields by neighbors and the community during the instructional day as long as the <br /> use does not disrupt the operation of school or the instructional program. City and District agree <br /> to the following: <br /> (1) The [joint] facilities described in section 1 of this Agreement that are located <br /> on District property will be used in a fashion that maximizes community use. However, <br /> such use must be compatible with protecting the safety and security of students, staff, and <br /> visitors. District reserves the right to control use and access to the facilities during the <br /> instructional day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. [Instructional days arc those days scheduled by <br /> the school board for instruction.] <br /> (2) District reserves the right to restrict partial or all use for up to 48 hours to <br /> respond to a safety or welfare emergency. The superintendent or designee will inform the <br /> city manager or designee of such a decision. Any restriction that extends beyond 48 hours <br /> requires the concurrence of the city manager or designee. <br /> (3) School grounds, including the Youth Sports Parks, will be posted with signs <br /> informing the public that the areas are school grounds and that public access is welcome, <br /> but may be restricted without prior notice for security or, while school is in session, for <br /> instructional reasons. <br /> 11.2 Dogs. Dogs will not be permitted on the [multi -usc] artificial surface [athlctic] <br /> fields.
