Only artificial, all- weather field development is proposed for the North Eugene High School site. <br /> There is no adjacent City park land and no ongoing City maintenance in the near area. I would <br /> propose that the maintenance of this facility remain the responsibility of the School District. <br /> I assume that some type of intergovernmental agreement transferring jurisdiction of those portions of <br /> these sites to the City for the term of the agreement will be necessary. Still, these would be no more <br /> complex or difficult than the land transfer requested by 4J at the Sheldon site. Given their effect in <br /> simplifying the maintenance responsibility /methods question, I urge you to consider this approach as a <br /> viable, if not preferable option. <br />
