When
we met, we relayed to you a number of concerns we have had about the City's placement of
the current temporary parking lot which abuts and partially overflows onto our property.
As you noticed during our visit, people using the parking lot have been throwing trash onto
our property and on the parking lot. The parking lot itself may interfere with the storm water
drainage system which the City required at our expense. Some of the other concerns we
expressed at the meeting are outlined in the attached letter.
Thank you for confirming your earlier promise that the parking lot would be moved.
We appreciate the immediate direction you gave to City staff to remove the temporary lot
from its current location, to restore the current site of the temporary lot to its previous
condition, and to relocate parking for users of the Ridgeline trail system to the very end of
the paved portion of Spring Boulevard.
You asked that we send you a letter addressing some of the issues we discussed with
you. The requested letter is enclosed.
Thank you.
S - ely,
•
Don Corson
DC /rb
Enc:
