Since a specific route is not identified, you could
use arrows or symbols. We decided the most straightforward way to show the vision, was to actually include it
as an Appendix.
Section 3 Habitat Assessment - Can you send me a copy or the link on the website to Appendix
B? Attached.
Section 4- Public Involvement - Great summary of public involvement. I think you helped
guide an open and meaningful public involvement process. We still receive a number of
inquiries and requests from various parties to visit the new park. We try to accommodate as
our schedules allow but look forward to the corridor being improved for everyone. Ifyou do
receive inquiries that you cannot accommodate, feel free to send them our way. Like you, we won't be able to
accommodate every request, but it would give us a sense of the broader community interest and might help justify
occasional scheduled visits.
Section 6 Map Components - Regarding maintenance access, do you want to mention that the city
obtained access easement rights from Arlie & Company for maintenance? This was an important
part of the sale agreement and might warrant a simple referurice. Good idea, and 1 v waded a
sentence as such.
Can you clarify with me what improvements the City needs in the places on the map shown as
"Improved maintenance access" points? All of the blue 'M's relate specifically to our ability to safely access
the site for maintenance purposes and have been identified by our maintenance staff. I've actually received
feedback from them a day ago that there were about 3 -4 addl spots. I'II send an updated map of those to you
shortly.
Several of the locations will require a separate access agreements from adjacent private property owners and /or the
homeowners association on the west end of the site. Looks to me like several others might need to be negotiated
2
